Turkey Meatballs with Almonds

These delicious meatballs are very easy to make. The aromatic breadcrumbs will give the meat extra flavor and a beautiful aroma too.

  • 400 gminced turkey meat
  • 100 gshaved Pecorino cheese (or Parmesan cheese)
  • 4 spoonsherb-flavored breadcrumbs
  • 2eggs
  • 2 clovesgarlic
  • 2 spoonsground almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoonground black pepper
  • q.s.fresh parsley
  • q.s.extra-virgin olive oil


  1. – put the meat, the eggs and the cheese into a bowl, mix well with your hands;

    – add the ground pepper, the ground almonds and mix well;

    – finely chop the parsley and the garlic cloves and add them to the mixture;

    – mix well with your hands till you get a smooth dough;

    – grease your hands with some oil, then shape the meatball with the palms of your hands;

    – roll each ball in breadcrumbs;

    – cover the bottom of a frypan with extra virgin olive oil;

    – bring the oil to heat then put the meatball into the frypan;

    – cover with a lid and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes;

    – turn the meatball and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes;
