Tuna Patties

This delicious fish patties are very easy to make. They are ready in few minutes and they are so delicious!

Eat them with a salad or use them to make amazing fish burgers 🙂

  • 300 gtuna in brine (net weight)
  • 3 spoonsextra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 spoonsbreadcrumbs
  • 1egg
  • 1 spooncapers
  • 1 clovegarlic
  • 1big potato
  • 1 sprigparsley
  • q.s.ground black pepper
  • q.s.breadcrumbs (to roll the patties before frying)


  1. – boil the potato in hot unsalted water;

    – peel the boiled potato and smash it with a fork, then allow to cool down;

    – put the tuna into a food processor and blend it together with the garlic, capers, oil and egg;

    – pour the thus obtain mixture onto the mashed potato and mix well;

    – add the breadcrumbs, the chopped parsley and the ground pepper;

    – mix well then shape 4 patties with your hands and roll them into breadcrumbs;

    – deep fry the patties for 1 minute on each side;

    – serve topped with some fresh lemon juice
