Tangerine Dust

The scent of this dust is awesome. Use it to enhance the flavor of your recipes; sweets; extra virgin olive oils; sugar; teas; etc… You can also put some of this dust in a linen or cotton envelop and place it in wardrobes or drawers as a natural deodorant.

Ingredients

  • 5 kgorganic tangerines

Preparation

  1. – wash well the tangerines;

    – dry them well with a clean kitchen towel;

    – peel the tangerines;

    – place the peel on a wide and flat baking tray;

    – put them in an electric dehydrator and follow its instructions or else fan-bake in your normal oven at 50 degrees for about 3 to 5 hours;

    – the tangerine peels must result completely dry;

    – allow to cool down then put the peel in a blender;

    – blend it till you get a fine dust;

    – store in a sealed sterilized glass jar;

    – store the jar in dark and dry place;

    – consume within 12 months;
