Tahina (sesame seed paste)

  • 200 g sesame seeds
  • 45 ml sesame seed oil (otherwise cold pressed sunflower oil)


  1. tahina
    • – put the sesame seeds in a large fry pan and turn on the fire;
    • – roast the sesame seeds till they golden. Beware: sesame cooks quickly, thus watch out it won’t burn;
    • – allow the roasted seeds to cool down a bit, then transfer them in a mixer together with the oil;
    • – blend everything together till you will get a smooth paste
