Chocolate Custard & Cookies Desert

Temperatures are going up, so it is time for fresh desserts! What about this delightful chocolate custard with cookies and fresh cream? I am sure the answer is an unanimous yes!

  • 1000 mlmilk
  • 250 gbrown sugar
  • 100 gcocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 100 gcorn starch
  • 200 gdry cookies
  • 4eggs
  • ground cinnamon


  1. – pour the milk in a pan and bring to heat

  2. – meanwhile, separately beat the eggs with the sugar, the cocoa powder and the corn starch

  3. – when the milk is about to start boiling, pour the eggs mixture

  4. – remove the pan from the fire and stir well until the cream thickens

  5. To assembly the dessert:

    – put a cookie on the bottom of the cup and dust it with ground cinnamon

    – pour 2 full tablespoon of hot chocolate custard put another biscuits dusted with ground cinnamon pour another layer of hot custard put the last biscuit and layer of custard top with the whipped fresh cream (whip the cream with the icing sugar) decorate with the star aniseed and cinnamon stick refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving
