Carob, Hazelnuts & Cinnamon Truffles

A tasty and healthy alternative to the classical chocolate truffles. The carobs are naturally sweet. Moreover, carob tastes like dark chocolate 🙂

  • 200 gcarob powder
  • 180 mltable water
  • 130 groasted hazelnuts
  • 50 mlsunflower oil (cold pressed)
  • 1 spoonhoney (multiflora)
  • 1 teaspoonground cinnamon


  1. – blend the hazelnuts together with the oil (do not blend too much because you shall make a crunchy cream for this recipe, so allow some small pieces of ground hazelnuts);

    – add the carobs powder and the water and mix well;

    – add the honey and mix well till you get a smooth cream;

    – shape small balls with the palms of your hands and roll them in the cinnamon powder
